Paper structure
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics each form a subject tab. Physics and Mathematics also have a Section B of numerical-answer questions.
- Section A questions are single-correct MCQs. Section B questions require a numerical value typed with the on-screen keypad.
- A single 45-minute clock runs across the entire paper. You may move freely between subjects.
Marking
- Correct answer: +4. Incorrect answer: −1 in both Section A and Section B. Unanswered or unmarked questions: 0.
- Numerical answers are matched to the answer key within the tolerance defined for that question.
Answering a question
- Select an option or enter a value, then press Save & Next. A response that is not saved is not evaluated.
- Save & Mark for Review keeps your answer and flags the question; it is still evaluated.
Tools
- A scientific calculator is available from the toolbar. It supports trigonometry, logarithms, roots and powers.
